Brianna Josefak, MHC- LP
My experience includes providing in-home mental health support to children, teens, and families, as well as working with young adults at a university mental health center. Through these experiences, I have helped guide my clients with anxiety, OCD, depression, behavioral issues, ADHD, life transitions, and relationship issues. I have also provided services in a clinical setting for individuals who were struggling with dual diagnoses of mental health and substance use. My work has prepared me to address various issues using a multi-theoretical approach to best support my clients and families.
I utilize evidence-based theories such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) within my sessions. Using a strength-based approach, together we will explore different techniques and skills to discover those that resonate with you and help guide you toward your goals.
I hope to empower you to tackle challenges, while you cultivate resilience and embrace your joyful milestones. Let’s embark on this journey together!
